How do Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services work?

RIOT offers a range of Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) payment options, including Afterpay, Zip and PayPal Pay in 4.

These services allow eligible customers to split the cost of their purchase into instalments, subject to the terms, conditions and approval requirements of the selected payment provider.

How does BNPL work?

Select your preferred BNPL option at checkout and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

You’ll need an account with the selected provider, and your eligibility, spending limits, payment schedule and approval are determined by that provider.

Gift cards and BNPL

BNPL services, including Afterpay, Zip and PayPal Pay in 4, cannot be used to purchase RIOT gift cards.

An eligible RIOT gift card may be used towards a regular purchase alongside an available BNPL payment method, subject to checkout eligibility.

BNPL refunds

If you return a purchase made using a BNPL service and your refund is approved, the relevant payment provider will manage any adjustment or cancellation of your remaining instalments and refund amounts already paid.

Refund processing times may vary between Afterpay, Zip and PayPal.
